Hi Sol!
You contributed so much to our School of Education during the very short time that you were here. How I miss your enthusiasm and your "Let's just do it!" way of engaging life. My manuscript for McGraw-Hill picks up where our interview left off ... I am writing about how we "plan for it."
More specifically, I am MAPPING THE JOURNEY TEACHERS MUST TAKE as we set out to guide academically at-risk students to mobilize the efforts and resources that bring the end we all desire: crossing that great divide between learning to read into the expansive and generative territory of READING TO LEARN!
